A Platform for Measuring the Complexity of Urban and Peri-Urban Landscapes in the Anthropocene
MISSION
We use Just Urban Green Lab as a platform to link multiple knowledge spheres concerned with the role of green and blue spaces in urban regions. The aim is to understand the complexity of social-ecological systems at multiple scales, from urban parks to large patches of vegetation in the urban-wildland interface. We advance this knowledge in collaboration with researchers, policy makers, practitioners, and residents.
Research Themes
We develop hands-on workshops tailored to help participants cultivate green spaces that thrive, ensuring they equip themselves with the skills needed to make a positive environmental impact.
Our detailed training sessions focus on improving urban horticulture practices, enabling individuals to enhance their gardens and the immediate environment effectively.
Customized resources that provide insights into sustainable practices, ecosystem management, and practical gardening skills are at your disposal for informed decision-making.
